Putul , 'cause of his rebillious nature got the name ' Tikli ' ~ a firecracker that constantly goes boon , boon , boon and 'Laxmi Bomb ' is named after Laxmi ,'cause she's like a big bomb which in case blast could envelope astronomical damage .
Beside Main Protagonist , Author has also added side characters which makes the read more crispy . # Tikli's Ideology is the backbone of the plot .
# Tikli's gelling with Laxmi .
# When Laxmi runs out of Police Station and stumble into A.C.P .

Anything to Look Hot

A Straightforward Read !!!

BOOK DETAILS :

Title: Anything to Look Hot
Author: Jas Kohli
Genre: Ficton
Publishers: Srishti Publishers
Price: INR. 195
Goodreads Rating : 3/5

BOOK REVIEW

Truth be told , I received this book as a Review copy in exchange of an honest review . Plastic Surgeon , Jas Kohli , has given a detail account on Plastic Surgery debunking many myths about Cosmetic Surgery . " Anything to Look Hot " is a straight forward read narrated in First form by Dr. Dhruv Khanna who by profession is a Plastic Surgeon and the writing style makes it a true-account type fiction with zero twists and turns . Story hatched with declaration of Dhruv's result of M.Ch. which he cleared and starts his journey as a Resident doctor in Plastic Surgery Department of Arogyam Hospital under Chief aka Dr. Vidhur . Under Vidhur's tutelage , Dhruv passed out as one of the leading cosmetic surgeon making his way in Bollywood on his dad's advice .It was during his tenure as a senior Resident Doctor , he met Nandini who joined as a junior Doc and later tied in the sacred knot of marriage .With Nandini's Character , Author has highlighted the social issues faced by North-East Indians in Delhi and other parts of country . Dhruv's Father Ravinder Khanna is portrayed as a supporting father who stands behind his son . Author keeps the pace of the book with Chitra and Shagun's character which even with straight forward roles doesn't let the reader blink his/her eyes  .

Fav. Moment :
# When Dhruv Went Gaga over Nandini .
# Dr. Palmer's humoros talks .
# Mururi who comes to rescue Dhruv whenever he caught up in a situation which Books can't help to sought out .
# " Don't share Client's information " board in Dr. Jayaraj's Hospital in every corner .

Negative Spot in Book : Story rolls out flawlessly without any turn or twist .

So , Anything to Look Hot is a straightforward but fun & light read thrashing common myths of Plastic Surgery .

" Reveal your civilized side by rising above the primitive instinct of revenge . "

S.O.A.R

A COMPACT READ !!!

BOOK DETAILS :

Title: S.O.A.R
Author: Abir Mukherjee
Genre: Ficton
Publishers: Frog
Price: INR. 125
Goodreads Rating : 4/5

BOOK REVIEW

Truth be told , I received this book in exchange of an honest review . So , S.O.A.R is the 2nd book pen down by author Abir Mukherjee which revolves around the life of three strangers who become friends and then destiny takes them on a ride which change their life forever . Story launched with the voice call received by Adhyayan aka Adi in US from his old acquaintance Rajashekran aka Raja who spew some news of Uday's arrest that makes Adi booked the flight to Banglore on a short notice and this very event triggers the further writing of the plot .
Author has thoroughly worked in characterizing protagonists . Trio Raja , Adi and Uday used to work in same firm as IT experts till the time Uday flagged up an idea of a website that would change the definition of Schooling related stuff in India . Uday is portrayed as an entrepreneur with high spirits to never retreat and is beyond laborious type guy who is ready to move mountains to achieve what he'd set which cost storms in the personal lives of trio . Adi's relation with her Wife Shrishti bolted in a way to showcase the lows experienced by working class Husband-Wives .And what I found most entertaining is the story entangled with Raja and Sneha .

Positives :
# Have Patience , Good Things take time
# Some smiles hide pain
# With Raja , Adi and Uday's relation author had tried to bolt the fact that Family stays a family no matter what happens .
# Uday's spirits to hit at his aim gives a point of " No Retreat No Surrender ' when it comes to achieving Dreams .

Negative :
I found this book a bit compact . I felt as if I'm reading a detailed review of some movie , so there's lack of details from the surroundings and is more or less a straight-forward plot .

Fav. Moments :
# When Uday and Adi ask Raja about the location of Sneha's Tattoo.
# Raja & Sneha's meeting
# Sneha's fight with her friends

So S.O.A.R is a compact and fun read whose 2nd half keep the reader hooked to sudden change of events .

BOOK REVIEW

First of all Many Many Congratulations to author on such an outstanding & Captivating debut . " The Recession Groom " is exciting tale , narrated in third person , of an IT Professional Parshuraman Joshi . Parshuram was born in India , completed his high school education and then shifted to San Jose , US to his Aunt's place . He lost his mom at a very early age and was raised by his Grandmother and sister . Later on shifting to US for higher Studies , he resided at his Aunt Parvati's place for six years and shifted to Toronto to work with a MNC Veeza .
Plot launch with the a phone call to Parshuraman from India about a marriage proposal which was tabled by her Sister . Prashuraman was working with Veeza , getting a five-figure salary and caught in his own web of project Infinite . With Prashuraman's character , author had bolted a relationship-crisis scenario from Jennifer to Tara  and even Tharsiniy . With turning pages , as the Name of the book , Recession hits our Protagonist's wedding Personality .
Beside Protagonist , Vani had also deeply portrayed the side characters in plot from Aunt Parvati  to Jennifer to Bill , Ragini , Snorty , Suraj and God of Patience Mr. Patel . Aunt Parvati who cares for Parshuraman as her own son and keeps drums about him as the most eligible bachelor of World . She initiated the talk of Parshuraman's wedding with Tara which triggered the events that leads to the pacy plot .Grandmother is  embedded as the most coolest character of the book with the smartest one of her generation as per her Grandson .Jennifer , my favorite character , who was gaga over Parshuraman but he acts as Mamma's boy who only wanna be in relationship with a girl who must be happily accepted by his family .

Fav. Moments :
* BarTending Suggestions from Snorty .
* Nani's talks .
* Bill's chat with Parshuraman about Jennifer .
* Everytime Parshuraman Stumble into Talk with Mr. Patel

Irritating Momements :
' Marriage ' turned out to be the most irritating word which i face while reading this book  . Honestly , there's an over-utilization of this word in whole plot .

So , " The Recession Groom " is a Powerful and spell-binding Debut .

" Remember, good things come to those who wait patiently "

The Secrets of the Dark : The Debt of blood is Never Repaid is a fantasy woven by the author with the mixture of Greek and Indian culture .Story revolves around the Protagonist " Agni " Agni was brought up by Briksha with his son Vrish and Malini and in very young age , Both Agni and Vrish are selected as the Wards of the Prince Yani .But ona festival night , fire broke out in the ship carrying Briksha and Malini . And a clue given to him by Malini put Agni and Vrish on the quest to find the culprits who intentionally plan a conspiracy . With sudden turn of events carry the pace of story and let the reader hooked till the very end .Author has shown the spirits of true friendship with Agni , yani & Vrish's character .
Beside it , Author also bolted a parallel story of Princess of Leu , Lysandra who is portrayed as the warrior princess who goes length and breath to lead the army . Lysandra is accompanied by the trust of his brother Damian , love of his father and the back of his generals
So the story takes a reader on the journey filled with emotions , thrill , fear , betrayal and surprises . Stances like the thorough Tournament , Bali's Brother setting on fire and Lysandra's war Strategy to conquer Alexandria turns out to be my favorite events in the book which makes it Must-Read Thriller for Mythological Fantasy lovers .

General Lessons From Book

# A man is known for his humility and excels through his patience .
# Modesty is the virtue but don't think yourself to be lesser than anyone when you've proved yourself .
# It is sometimes more important to forgive oneself before being forgiven by others .
# One is never alone in the path of justice .
# You can hide your yourself but never your shadow .

Situations I Came across while reading this book are some loopholes while depicting the story like Agni used his power just once that too my mistake ? Just once ?

" Modesty is the virtue but don't think yourself to be lesser than anyone when you have proved yourself  "
