"God comes into every house in the form of a child."

Naked, helpless, powerless, wealth-less, illiterate and ignorant, newborns arrive happy, positive, full of smiles and love. Every child is unique and perfect. The world stops to comfort a crying child.

The well-dressed, independent, power-hungry, wealthy, educated and worldly-wise adults are imperfect, frustrated, bitter and stressed.

Yet, grown-ups teach children. The stressed mentor the stress-free. The unhappy correct the happy. The confused guide the wise.

Welcome to the world of Raghav Malhotra, a typical MNC drone. Haunted by a guilty past, our common man struggles to serve a thankless spouse, a condescending family and a ruthless boss.

Inevitably, Raghav's life collapses like a house of cards. Violence, whores, alcohol and drugs follow.

Till God himself arrives.

You've read many stories about motherhood transforming a woman. Now, follow Raghav on his self-enlightenment journey through the joys of fatherhood. Child/God is a riveting story of a thirty-five-year-old disciple learning the meaning of life from his six-month-old guru. Discover how Raghav's living God transforms his life - and yours.

Book Review

Truth be told , I received this book as review copy & as soon as I started the book , I found , the plot is so sticky that it kept me glued to the book till the very end . Ketan Bhagat has pen down a Page turner , true and direct-from-heart , story which holds the breath of the reader in some stances . Plot revolves around the main protagonist Raghav Malhotra who works in an IT Company , intelligent and ambitious extrovert who keeps the grin around himself by cracking jokes and cheesy lines . But as happens in the Indian-society , he is always compared with his elder brother Rishi since his childhood days who is a successful writer , an IIT product who scaled the economics of family and hence the apple of everyone's eye . But Raghav is never envied of his brother's success rather always proud of having him but with time events turned into manner that as always ego and race to act smart put cracks in relationships which stressed Raghav and spat with his wife settled him to drown in work silently inspite of chirpy Raghav . But as said by legends , birth of a child is considered as the birth of almighty , a child who fills any crack into relation . With newbie in family , Raghav's life filled with joy , he realized how society try to module us in their ways .
Apart from seriousness , author has bolted the contents in humorous ways , planting characters like Dog Uncle , who lives his life on his own terms , calling dogs more faithful than any human .
Only situation i faced with the book is that its not handy , as big as any register which makes it difficult for reader to carry it while moving . So I suggest author to look at the size , if possible Re-publish in the bit smaller size .
In short , Child/God is a must read book which enlightens readers with the true joy & meaning of life . A Self help book it can be called !

" If you suffer it is because of you , if you feel blissful it is because of you . Nobody else is responsible -only you and you alone . you are your hell and your heaven too "
